Video commissioned by the church I attend.
The idea was to explain to the whole congregation why a collage-
specific ministry is important, and what we try to do with that ministry.
Written, shot and directed by Tyler Francis.
Software Used:
- Adobe After Effects for the blue squares at the beginning and the blue waves at the end
- Apple Final Cut Pro for all of the capturing and editing of the video and audio
So I woke up one morning, stood up and threw open the windows
to take a throat-clenching whiff of good ole fashioned, Florida grade
second hand smoke. Deciding that was a bad idea, I went into the
kitchen and fumbled around for the bag of vaguely chocolaty flavored
off-brand rice-y-o's and thought up some ideas for a nice sixty second
animation. Remembering a song I made a while back in Sony Acid 5 or something,
I figured I'd animate some kinda stick man character running about
to the style of my music. Sounds good. After a long, hot bath,
I decided this was a better idea. I like this song.
Software used:

Took about 20 total hours.
I guess I got most of the idea from the portal icons
and a bit from game and watch (who has one of the more lame final smashes, I might add)

Another video done for fun, this time I was experimenting with keying
out "imperfect" backgrounds like my bedroom wall full of shadows and
uneven texture. I think it worked out pretty well for a first time.
Software used:
- Apple Quicktime Pro for video capture
- Apple Final Cut Pro for video editing and key process
Episode 100 of a fake podcast, made for the sake of recording my
desktop and editing it together with my voice, face and different music
tracks. Also made to show off how I made one of my favorite
illustrations.
Software used:

- Adobe Illustrator for the initial Wii rendering
- Adobe Photoshop for the on-screen editing
- Apple Final Cut Pro for the final video editing
